Well-known and talented Oaxacan artisan Eleazar Morales has created this handsome Ibex carving. The body is a gray speckled pattern with a green freeform design. The head is light gray with black markings, bright turquoise eyes and magnificent long, tan and brown horns. The Ibex' s legs are black and gray, with blue hooves. This bright green mantis is checking you out with orange eyes and bronze antennae and is the creation of the Mixe artisan group of eastern Oaxaca state. It has colorfully painted and detailed wings of green, black, pale blue and orange. Its legs are painted a freeform dot pattern of yellow and green and the underside and back are multiple patterns and colors. Approximate dimensions: 9" Long x 6" Wide x 11" High.

Talented and imaginative Oaxacan artisan Edilberto Cortes has created this charming sitting cat. Its sides are a dual pattern of pre-Columbian and geometric designs in black, gray and white. A wide stripe from the head to the tail is shades of green and the tail is gray, white and black stripes.
