Eleazar Morales is a master of detail, and his handsome lying jaguar displays this talent well. The figure is intricately painted in medium brown with interspersed patterns of orange and black. Artisan Moises Jimenez, grandson of pioneer carver Manuel Jimenez, has created this charming frog. It is black with pale beige elongated dots, with a white underside, highlighted with multiple black lines. The frog has very round stylized eyes, which are pink and blue with yellow and black pupils. Smaller dots decorate the head. A vivid pink accents the toes.
