| This colorful peacock has been created by the Mixe artisan group. They are from the Mixe region of eastern Oaxaca state, and have been creating distinctive folkart for a quarter of a century. The body of the carving has a green neck and a mottled feather design in shades of blue and green on the front and back, with its sides painted a variety of colors. The peacock's spread of tail feathers is comprised of multi-colored carved wooden stylized feathers individually inserted into the body. Approximate dimensions: 7" Long x 21" Wide x 15" High. Lots of detail - beautiful and unusual! | ||
